Hi, I’m Julio Lama, a mobile developer with a focus on Flutter, passionate about building meaningful digital experiences.

I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and my journey into technology started with a deep desire to create something impactful—something that could reach and benefit people worldwide. I learned English as my second language in high school, which later helped me transition when my parents sent me to the U.S. in 2015 to pursue a Computer Science degree at DePaul University in Chicago.

During my studies, I honed my skills in software development, problem-solving, and user-centric design, ultimately graduating in 2019. While in college, I landed an internship at Ensighten, where I gained hands-on experience in software development. After graduating, I secured my first role as a Flutter developer at Semy, marking the start of my career in mobile app development.

In 2024, I became a U.S. citizen, a milestone in both my personal and professional journey. When I’m not at work, I enjoy honing my skills, exploring new technologies, and working on ideas that keep me learning and growing as a developer.
